New Year’s Eve set to light up the Foreshore

Celebrate New Years Eve in Newcastle with fireworks, heaps of entertainment, food outlets, amusement rides and more at the Newcastle Foreshore Park. If you are looking for a change of scenery, head to Stockton Foreshore which will also be alive with amusement rides and food outlets.

Fireworks will light the sky at 9pm (for families) and midnight (for the young at heart).

The Foreshore concert will kick start at 6pm with Daviel Arvidson, Dean Kyrwood and the Alternatives, and Sideburn until midnight.

Free parking will be provided at the Court House Car Park, Bolton Street from 5pm to 7.30am. Some roads in the vicinity will be closed. A map of road closures is available on Council’s website.

Newcastle Buses are providing a special New Year’s Eve timetable which can be obtained by ringing 131 500.
